Making sure Princeps runs smoothly, making sure customer needs are met, our financial needs are dealt with, thinking about the strategic development of our business and most importantly – making sure the Princeps team are happy and productive.
What do you enjoy most about working at Princeps?
Seeing how Princeps have grown since we started in 2006, seeing how our staff have developed into the great team we have now. Everyone has ideas on how Princeps can improve and evolve to meet customer needs and requirements. I love hearing our sales bell ring when orders come in, getting approved in new customers, moving Princeps into new sectors, seeing growth in our customer base and developing Princeps.
What is the biggest challenge facing your customers and how do you solve it for them?
At present I would say lead time issues, we solve this by using our extensive network of suppliers and direct dealings with manufacturers to keep our customers production lines running. I would add product traceability, and the variation in what different organisations consider full traceability – this is both amazing and scary in equal measure, especially when you consider who some of these organisations are. Our AS9120 certification and the Princeps PRIME+ service are the best way to solve this problem, using Princeps PRIME+ takes away the hassle of getting the correct traceability paperwork – giving our customers peace of mind and time to get on with other more productive things.
What are the values that drive you?
I am driven to exceed customer expectations. The values that drive me are honesty and the three core values of the business – Quality, Service and Communication.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Spending time with my wife and children, BBQs, travelling to new places and meeting new people along the way. I enjoy watching football and the occasional day at the races, along with a good Gin and Tonic.
